It has been an honour to host the IIHF Olympic Qualifiers this week.  Here’s everything you need to know about the final day of the tournament.

TWO GAMES TO CHOOSE FROM – There are 2 games today but the big one is Team GB v Romania.  Both teams are undefeated up to this point, so the winner advances to the next round of the Olympic Qualifiers.  Doors open at 2:00pm today.  Here's today's schedule:

Sunday 11th February
China v Serbia - 3pm
Great Britain v Romania - 7pm

TICKETS – You can still buy tickets for both games - CLICK HERE

davies-and-kirk.jpgTHE DEVIL YOU KNOW – The Devils are well represented with 4 players in the line-up.  Ben Bowns, Mark Richardson, Evan Mosey and Ben Davies will all be playing today.  Head Coach Pete Russell will be behind the bench and Assistant Coach Euan King will be coaching the goalies.

Pete Russell Team GBONE(S) TO WATCH – Keep an eye on GB Star Liam Kirk who is having a great season in the top Czech League with Litvinov. He has scored 14 goals and 11 assists for 25 points in 44 games.  Another GB stud is Sheffield’s captain Robert Dowd (pictured below) who leads his team in goals with 16 in 33 games played.

dowd-gb.jpgBETWEEN THE PIPES – Ben Bowns and Jackson Whistle faced each other twice last weekend in Belfast but they are likely to share netminding duties this week with GB.  Both are putting up career best numbers in the EIHL with Whistle posting a goals against average of 1.93 and a save rate of 92.89%.  Bowns has a 2.56 gaa and a save rate of 92.35% and is second in the league with 3 shutouts. Two great options for Pete Russell this week.

gb-goalies.jpgPARKING AVAILABILITY – The former Toys R Us carpark located across the road from Vindico Arena will open at 1:00pm today, which is 2 hours before the first game.

parking-correct-width.jpgBETWEEN THE GAMES – Just like we did for the Continental Cup games, we require all fans to exit the building after the first game and queue up again for the second game.  We will aim to get those with tournament passes or tickets for the evening games scanned back in as quickly as possible.

WATCH IT ONLINE - If you can't make the game, you can still watch it live - CLICK HERE to purchase individual games or a tournament pass.
