Devils hit the ice Monday morning at Vindico Arena

The Devils will have three young GB prospects at training camp this season.
Ben Norton and Bayley Harewood are both on two-way contracts with the Bristol Pitbulls and the Devils. They will be joined by 18-year-old defenceman Jacob White-Sey who will be icing with the Slough Jets this season.
White-Sey was the captain of the GB Under-18s squad last season and also played for the GB Under-20s. He played 9 games for the Bristol Pitbulls as well as playing 27 for the Slough Jets in the NIHL 1 league. Bristol recently confirmed that he will continue on a two-way agreement between Slough and the Pitbulls.
Pete Russell spoke about the invite to White-Sey to participate in training camp:
“We wanted to give Jacob the chance to experience a pro training camp and be a part of our team for a few weeks. It is important to give opportunities to the best young GB players and we want players like Jacob to have opportunities to show us what they can do.
“I watched Jacob a few weeks ago in Sheffield at the GB camp and he has a ton of potential. Jacob is a big body defenceman that skates extremely well. He has a heavy shot and makes smart plays with the puck. We are really excited to have him here with us for the next few weeks.”
Jacob White-Sey spoke said:
“I’m so glad to be given the opportunity to just be around guys at camp. I can’t wait for a week of learning and improving my game.”
Todd Kelman added:
"We always have an eye on the next crop of British talent. All three of these players deserve the opportunity to showcase themselves with us throughout pre-season, I think it will be a great experience for all of them.
