After taking a 2-0 lead in the opening period the Devils let the Flyers back into the game only to take over in the final 20 minutes to secure the win.
It took just 80 seconds for Charles Linglet to open the scoring for the Devils as he finished off a pass from Stephen Dixon with linemate Joey Haddad drawing the other assist on the play.

Matt Pope buried his 5th goal in the last 7 games to give the Devils a 2-0 lead on the powerplay at 9:22 with Gleason Fournier and Mike McNamee assisting on the goal.

The middle period belonged to the Fife Flyers as they scored twice to tie the game up after 40 minutes of play. Carlo Finucci made it 2-1 at 21:28 with Mike Cazzola drawing the lone assist, then Cazzola scored himself less than 4 minutes later to tie the game up at 2 apiece.
Joey Haddad scored his team leading 23rd goal of the season at 43:56 with Sean McMonagle and Joey Martin assisting on the powerplay goal that put the Devils up 3-2.

At 55:24 a Gleason Fournier wrist shot from just inside the blueline found a way past Adam Morrison to give the Devils a 4-2 lead, then Mike McNamee scored on a breakaway after being set up by Bryce Reddick to round out the scoring at 58:43 to give the Devils a 5-2 win.

Ben Bowns stopped 29 of 31 shots he faced and the Devils went 2 for 3 on the powerplay while staying perfect on the penalty kill.
Mike McNamee picked up the Man of the Match after scoring once and assisting on another.
