Biography
Davies returns for a third straight season of his second stint with his hometown team.
Born and bred in Cardiff, he played his youth hockey in Cardiff and turned pro with the Devils in 2007-08. He played seven seasons for the Devils before moving on to play two seasons in Glasgow (2014-2016) and three in Guildford (2017-2020).
After icing briefly for the Manchester Storm for the Elite Series in the Covid shortened season of 2020-21, he signed back with the Devils ahead of the 2021-22 season and went on to lift the Playoff Championship at the end of that season.
Davies played in his 800th game in all Elite League competitions last season, reaching the milestone against the Dundee Stars on the 4th of December. Now at 32 years old, he has found his role with the Devils as a high-energy centreman and one of the league’s top penalty killers.
