Everything you need to know about Devils V Flyers

Here's what's happening at Saturday's sold out game

PROSTATE CYMRU NIGHT – Our official charity partner is Prostate Cymru and this year they are celebrating their 20th Anniversary. Saturday’s game is part of their celebrations, and we are pleased to be able to welcome their staff and patrons and their mascot Wesley to the game.  To donate please CLICK HERE

taz-and-wesley.jpg50/50 DRAW – Saturday’s 50/50 raffle is going to be split this way – 50% goes to the winner (as always) and the other 50% is going straight to Prostate Cymru (instead of the Devils).  So please dig deep to support the vital work Prostate Cymru are doing throughout Wales.

brittain-and-reid.jpgSEASON TICKET LAUNCH – We are launching our season ticket packages for 2023-24 on Saturday.  Current season ticket holders will be able to renew online (link to follow Saturday) but if you are looking to become a season ticket holder, pick up a leaflet on Saturday with all the information.  Spoiler alert – the prices are exactly the same as this season, which should make all of you as happy as this guy.

elderly-fan-v-belfast-jan-20-JA.jpg999 REASONS WE LOVE RICHY – Saturday is Mark Richardson’s 999th game in the Elite League.  He will hit the 1,000 milestone on Sunday when the team are away to Dundee and in doing so, he will become the third player in league history to play more than 1,000 games.  The other two are both former Devils - Jonathan Phillips and Matthew Myers. We will celebrate hitting the milestone at our next home game.

richardson-v-belfast-jan-20-JA.jpgLAST TIME WE PLAYED FIFE – The Devils have faced the Flyers three times this season and won all three games, two up in Scotland and one down in Wales.  The only time we have played the Flyers in Cardiff was back on the 2nd of November when we skated away with a 7-4 victory.  Watch the highlights of that game below.

SHIRT OF THEIR BACK - It’s a double Shirt Off His Back raffle on Saturday. You could win the jersey of either one of the two Prostate Cymru ambassadors on the Devils this season - Josh Brittain and Brodie Reid.  Tickets are £1 and available from the roaming sellers or game night sales stands.

Prostate-Cymru-SOHB.jpgHE’S BACK – Mark Louis returns from his 3 game suspension on Saturday to bolster the Devils defensive unit.  His return will mean Reece Kelly will go back to play for the Bristol Pitbulls this weekend.  Reece did a great job, and we will likely see him back at some point this season in a Devils uniform.

louis-v-dundee-dec-17-JA.jpgCHUCK A PUCK –  Get your Chuck a Pucks for £1 each with the closest puck to the centre ice bullseye winning a £100 voucher to spend on Devils merchandise in the shop or online.

chuck-a-puck-2022-23.jpgLUCKY PROGRAMME – Your match night programme is available for £3 each from the game night sales stands.  Find the lucky programme signed inside by Josh Brittain and Brodie Reid and you can meet both of them for a photo on the team bench after the game.   No other postgame signings this week because the guys are on a very early bus to the airport to then fly to Dundee to take on the Stars on Sunday evening.

NEXT HOME GAME - We are back at home on Sunday 5th February against the Nottingham Panthers for our annual Pride Night.  There are still a few seats remaining (but not many).  CLICK HERE to book for all upcoming games.
