Paul Thompson has named his captains for the 2025-26 season.
Joey Martin will captain the Devils this season with Mark Richardson, Jimmy Oligny and Kohen Olischefski serving as assistant captains.
Martin has previously worn the captain’s ‘C’ for the Devils during the Covid shortened 2019-20 season, taking over from Jake Morissette who was captain for 3 seasons from 2016-2019.
Richardson has previously worn the ‘C’ with the Devils for 4 seasons from 2021-22 through to last season. He was an assistant captain before that for the previous 6 seasons. He has also worn an ‘A’ for the GB National team for the last 11 years. 
Oligny was the Captain of the Manitoba Moose of the AHL, the farm team of the NHL’s Winnipeg Jets, for his last 3 seasons in North America before moving to Europe last year. 
Olischefski is a former Captain of the University of Denver, one of the top university ice hockey programmes in the NCAA. He captained current teammates Ryan Barrow and Connor Caponi at Denver during the 2020-21 season.
