Defenceman Bryce Reddick is back for another year with the Devils in 2018-19.
Last year, the 28 year old defenceman tallied 21 points in 66 games in his first season in the EIHL. He played a big part in the Devils 3 titles – the Erhardt Conference, the Elite League Title and the Playoff Championship – and is hungry for more this season.
Before coming to Cardiff, Reddick played in the top Danish league for the Aalborg Pirates where he led all defenceman in the league in assists with 24 in 45 games in the 2016-17 season. Prior to that he spent a season in Norway and one in France.
Andrew Lord selected Reddick as his ‘Coach’s Player of the Year’ last season and was pleased to finally confirm his return this week:
“Bryce brings a great attitude to the rink every day and is a work horse on and off the ice.
“You can see that he wants to get better every day and that drive is infectious. You need more people with that desire to improve and love of the game that Bryce brings to this team.
“He is one of the best skating defenceman in the league and likes to join the offensive rush. He has a great shot and plays solid at both ends of the ice.
“He got better and better as the season progressed and he is a guy that can be used in every situation. He skates so well and has a I expect he will come into Cardiff again in great shape and raring to go once again this year.”
