Nottingham Panthers Make Generous Donation to Matzka

The Nottingham Panthers have made a generous donation of £2,000 to Scott Matzka and his family.

"Panthers' owner Neil Black spoke to me this morning to confirm the donation," explained Todd Kelman.

"I was overwhelmed.  This is extremely generous from Neil and the Panthers. The hockey community has really rallied behind Matzka and this is another example of that.  We really appreciate this donation for the Matzka family and I know Scott will want to thank Neil Black for this himself."

Overall, the game, the auction, the donations from teams and fans around the league, the t-shirt sales and everything else that people gave has totalled over £65,000.
