With the cancellation of the season, we’ve had to get creative with a way to do our annual end of season jersey auction.
Information for 2019-20 Season Ticket Holders
First of all, I want to say that we have been overwhelmed by the messages from our season ticket holders. Whether it was email, phone calls, texts, tweets or direct messages, we have literally had HUNDREDS of messages telling us the same thing - that you are not interested in any sort of refund or compensation for the 4 games you missed out on to complete the 32 games in your season ticket package.
For everyone that took the time to contact us, it means so much to all of us that during a time like this when you should be concerned with your own well-being and that of your friends and family, you have made the Cardiff Devils a priority as well. I thank all of you for that reassurance and support.
These are unprecedented circumstances, not just in the UK but across the globe. One thing is for certain, we will be back as strong as ever, and hopefully all of you that made the Devils part of your weekend plans for the last 8 months will continue to support us and sign up for season tickets for the 2020/21 season.
Getting back to the 4 games you missed out on to complete your season ticket. We would like to offer all of you 2 free pre-season games to start the 2020/21 as well as holding an exclusive season ticket event with the players to launch the 2020/21 season. Even if you are not signing up for season tickets for 2020/21, you will still get free tickets to these 2 games as well as the event with the players. I know this isn’t the same as 4 games, but this will help to ensure the survival of the Devils and allow us to plan for the 2020/21 season.
I hope you understand why we are doing this and hopefully you can continue to support the Devils as we roll on and plan for the 2020/21 campaign.
As always, we will try our best to regularly communicate with our fanbase over the next few weeks, but ask that you try to use email to contact us whenever possible and take into consideration that it may take staff longer than usual to get back to you.
