Remaining-Seats-v-Blaze.jpgWHERE THEY STAND - The Blaze are currently in third place, while the Devils are in fifth with a couple games in hand over the Blaze.  One of the big reasons for Coventry’s hot start is their powerplay, which is currently the league’s best, clipping at 27.69%.

WHO’S HOT FOR CARDIFF – Former Blaze forward Ryan Penny scored twice on Friday night to help the Devils secure the win over Angers in the Continental Cup.  He also added a goal on Sunday against Zemgale to lead the tournament in goals.  Before the Cup, Penny had 3 goals in his previous 5 games in Elite League action.

SUNDAY IN FIFE – The Devils head to Scotland on Sunday to face the Fife Flyers who currently sit in 7th place.  The Devils have won both meetings between the teams so far this season, a 4-3 OT thriller in Fife back on October 23rd, then a 7-4 win in Cardiff on November 2nd
