From whose in town to where to park and everything in between, we've got you covered...
IT'S OUR HOME OPENER - It’s finally here! After 2 CHL games and 2 pre-season games, this is the start of the domestic competitive season. You can still get tickets ONLINE HERE or by calling us on 0800 0842 666.
THE OWNERS ARE IN TOWN - Not all of them, but Steve King (on the right) and Brian Parker (on the left) will be in the building for Saturday night’s home opener along with their wives and some of their families to celebrate the 2021-22 season finally getting underway.
WE'VE GOT CLAP BANNERS – just in time for the season opener, we have our official print partner Harlequin Print looking after all our printing needs including some clap banners to kick the season off right.
SPEAKING OF PRINTING – we also have our first match night programme of the 2021-22 season, and it is packed full of articles and great photos of this year’s squad. Pick one up for £3 throughout the night from the game night sales booths.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CUP - Saturday night is our first game of the Challenge Cup, a competition that we take very seriously here in Cardiff. In the last 6 seasons, we have played in 5 Challenge Cup Finals, winning it twice (2015 & 2017).
YOU CAN WIN A GAME WORN JERSEY – Former Guildford Flame and current Devil Josh Waller’s jersey is up for grabs in the Shirt off his back raffle. Tickets are £1 from the roaming sellers or the game night sales desks.
CHUCK A PUCK IS BACK – and the prize is a brand new XBOX Series S 512gb digital console. So all you gamers or potential gamers can buy your foam pucks from the game night sales stands and at the end of the 2nd intermission, after the Zamboni is off the ice, you can chuck those pucks with a chance to win.
RULES ARE RULES – There are a couple big ones to take note of: 1) wear your masks; 2) do not go back to your seat or get out of your seat until a break in play – just wait for a whistle and then make your move.
50/50 - The usual 50/50 raffle for a cash prize is on sale as always. 50% of the takings go to the winner and the other 50% go to the club. Get your tickets from the game night sales booths or the roaming sellers.
PARKING – is available for free in the main arena carpark (gravel one behind the building) or for £3 in the former Toys R Us carpark or Wilcox House carpark, which is located across the road from the Harvester, about a 5 minute walk from the Arena.
CAN'T MAKE THE GAME - Saturday's game is available to watch online from 6:45pm. CLICK HERE to see how to buy the webcast or if you have never watched online before, there is a tutorial for how to sign up to DEVILS TV.
