Everything you need to know about Saturday & Sunday

Two games at home against Glasgow then Guildford

DOUBLE TROUBLE - We welcome the Glasgow Clan on Saturday (7pm) and the Guildford Flames on Sunday (4pm).  There are still tickets available for both games, so CLICK HERE to book online or call us on 0800 0842 666.

back-to-back-sep-2022.jpgBIG LOU IS BACK - After missing last Sunday's game in Coventry, Mark Louis will be back in the lineup this weekend.  We are happy to report we have a full lineup going into the two games.

louis.jpgSHIRT(S) OFF HIS BACK - Saturday you can win Ryan Penny's game worn jersey and on Sunday it is Riley Brandt's.  And remember we take cash or card at all sales stands and even the roaming sellers can take either.

penny-and-brandt-signing.jpgBACK IN BLACK - We will be wearing red on Saturday but on Sunday we are back in our black jerseys against the Flames.  Check out number 44 Mark Thompson below from earlier this season when we wore our black kit.  Ignore the spelling mistake on the jersey.  We've fixed that by now (I think).

thompson-black-v-nott-sep-4-JA.jpgCLAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE TONIGHT? We welcome back one of the most popular Devils in recent years on Saturday when Stephen Dixon returns to Ice Arena Wales with his new team.  We couldn't bring ourselves to put a photo of him in a Glasgow jersey so here is one we found from last May.

dixon-playoff-trophy-cup-2022-JA.jpgTHE BIG ISSUE - This weekend's match night programme covers both games and has previews of the Clan and the Flames as well as stories on Josh Batch and Cole Sanford.  We also have contributions from Terry Phillips following where some Devils favourites are now.  There are 2 signed programmes and if yours is one of them signed by Riley Brandt or Ryan Penny, you can come meet the players after the game and get a photo with them.

COACHING DEBUT - This weekend is the first time behind the bench for new assistant coach Christian Horn who arrived earlier this week.  Check out the full story HERE

Horn-assistant-coach.jpgPOWERBREAKS - We are getting rid of the powerbreaks.  We were in the middle of putting together a well-worded explanation of why, but then we saw the Glasgow Clan beat us to it.  So thank you to the Clan for saving us time.  We did make an announcement on social media and that is below in case you missed it.

CHUCK A PUCK - Both nights you can win a £100 voucher to spend on merchandise in the Devils Shop.  Get your foam pucks to chuck from any of the game night sales stands throughout the Arena.  Speaking of merchandise, we have loads of new items that arrived this week, so hit the shop or the merch stand in the main bar to see what we have in store (see what we did there).

hoodies-2022-23.jpgPOSTGAME - There is no postgame signing on Saturday because on Sunday we have a Skate with the Devils when you can meet the whole team.  Hit the ice postgame, either bring your own skates or rent them for £3 after the game.

skate-with-team.jpgJERSEY SPONSORSHIP RAFFLE  - After Sunday's game we also have our annual Fan Sponsorship jersey raffle, where you can win the right to 'sponsor' a player's game worn jersey for the season.  Basically you win the right to pre-purchase a game worn jersey of one of the players.  If you need more details CLICK HERE or just join us in the main bar after Sunday's game.

jersey-sponsorship-fan.jpgPARKING - There is a swimming gala on this weekend at the pool next door so expect a few less parking spaces if you normally park in the arena carpark.  The former Toys R Us site and Wilcox House will be open as normal (cost is £3 per car).

parking-correct-width.jpgWATCH ONLINE - If you can't make either game, you can watch both online - CLICK HERE for more information on Devils TV including the link to watch live.
