The visitors opened the scoring after a misplayed puck in the neutral zone sprung Nolan Laporte in alone to beat Ben Bowns and make it 1-0 after 3:36 played.
The Devils tied the game with a pretty passing play with Mike McNamee eventually hammering a perfect touch pass from Charles Linglet past Patrick Killeen in net for the Clan at 8:41.
