He won the Canadian USports Player of the Year after leading the nation in goals and points during the 2021-22 season. He has only played two full years of pro hockey including 25 games in the AHL over two stints with the Laval Rocket.Head Coach Paul Thompson spoke about the signing:
“Nolan brings us good size and presence through the middle and plays the game the right way, with and without the puck.
“I like his vision, and he brings others into the game with his heads up plays.
“He also plays with an edge, is strong on face-offs and has proven to be a top offensive forward during his career.
“His skill base will compliment our already talented lineup.”
Yaremko previously played with new defenceman Tyson Helgesen at Mount Royal University for 2 years.
