The Cardiff Devils capped off the weekend with a superb road win in Scotland with a comfortable win over the Fife Flyers.
Devils’ Captain Jake Morissette opened the scoring at 2:18 of the first period with Gleason Fournier and Evan Mosey picking up the assists. Mike Hedden doubled the lead at 13:20 with Charles Linglet getting the lone assist.

Joey Martin made it 3-0 on the powerplay just 2:28 into the middle period with Fournier picking up his 2ndassist of the night and Matt Pope drawing the other helper.
At 29:45 Hedden scored his 2ndgoal of the game with Linglet (2ndassist of the game) and Fournier (3rdassist of the game) setting him up to make it 4-0.

At 35:43 Evan Mosey scored to give the Devils a 5-0 lead, which they carried into the final period. Hedden and Stephen Dixon assisted on the Mosey goal.
With just over 3 minutes left in the second period Danick Gauthier dropped the gloves with the Devils Mark Louis to try and give his team a spark, but Louis answered the bell and both players sat 5 minutes for fighting.

With 3:52 left in the game, Brett Bulmer was called for a late hit then was given an additional 2-minute penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct so the Devils finished the game with a 4-minute powerplay.
Stephen Dixon eventually scored with 1:12 left to play in the game to round off the scoring at 6-0. Ben Bowns stopped all 25 shots he faced for his 3rdshutout of the season and also picked up the Man of the Match for the Devils.
