Devils fall to Flyers 5-1 in Fife on Saturday Night

The Devils fell to the Fife Flyers on Saturday Night with former Devil Paul Crowder scoring a hat-trick against his old club.

Crowder scored after just 58 seconds followed by Kyle Just’s powerplay goal at 7:08 to put the Flyers up 2-0.

Joey Haddad pulled one back at 14:16 on the powerplay, but that would be the only bright spot in this game for the Devils.

Another former Devil James Livingston rounded out the first period scoring, making it 3-1 at 17:35.

The middle period saw three powerplay opportunities for the Devils, but they couldn’t find a way past Adam Morrison.  Then at 38:18 with their first powerplay chance of the period, the Flyers converted with Crowder getting his 2nd goal of the night.

The third period saw Crowder round out the scoring with his hat-trick goal at 49:09 to make it 5-1 for the hometown Flyers.
