The Devils are Playoff Champions once again after defeating the Belfast Giants 2-1 in the Grand Final on Sunday evening.
In the biggest game of the season, the Devils brought their best with Ben Bowns leading the way stopping 34 of 35 shots on goal.
Mike Hedden opened the scoring at 16:32 of the first period with a shot that somehow squeaked through Tyler Beskorowany to give the Devils a 1-0 lead.

The middle period saw the Devils give the Giants 3 opportunities on the powerplay, but the Devils penalty kill and Bowns kept the Giants at bay.
Into the third period, and at 49:56 the Giants tied the game with Kevin Raine finding a way past Bowns to make it 1-1 with a wrist shot through traffic from the blueline. But less than 3 minutes later, Gleason Fournier finished off a pass from Matt Pope to retake the lead at 52:27, giving the Devils the 2-1 advantage with 7:33 to play.

The Giants threw everything they had at the Devils goal in the dying minutes, but Ben Bowns was there to shut the door and the Devils held on to win their second playoff crown in a row.
