Cardiff's Own Chris Jones Is Back For Devils

Chris Jones returns to the Devils for another season, his 4th full-time with the Devils Senior team.

The 25 year old played his youth hockey with the Devils organisation and besides a stint with Swindon Wildcats in 2012-13, he has always been a Cardiff Devil.

Over the past two seasons, Jones has played a bigger role with the Devils and in 2015-16, he became a regular on the Devils penalty killing unit that was ranked number one in the EIHL.

Player/Coach Andrew Lord: "Jones is a great skater, which is a big reason he earned a spot on the PK unit. He continues to improve and his dedication to his on ice and off ice training means he will be given more opportunity to play this coming season.

"In years past, we have called upon him to step into any line and he plays that role well.  His skating ability is his best asset and he is still getting better every year."
