Harewood has signed a two-way agreement with the Devils and the NIHL's Bees Ice Hockey Club.
The 18 year old forward from Barry, Wales will be in the line-up for both games against the Nottingham Panthers this weekend.
After playing his junior hockey with the Cardiff Junior Devils, Bayley moved to Canada for 2 seasons before returning to the UK. He played for the Basingstoke Bison during the 2019-20 season.
Coach Jarrod Skalde has been impressed with the 18 year old's progression so far this season.
"Bayley has been a pleasant surprise over the last couple of weeks. He skates really well, and he is a big strong kid. We wanted to get him some game time at this level throughout the pre-season.
"His coach for the Bees (Doug Sheppard) speaks very highly of him and really went to bat for him to get us to bring him into training camp, but I am glad we did."
The Devils and the Panthers have agreed to increase the roster size from 19 to 20 for the pre-season games so that two-way players can get some ice time.
