Brad voth will lead the Cardiff Devils against the Belfast Giants tomorrow night.
Following a review of the incident from Saturday, the match penalty received by the Devils' Captain has been commuted to a game penalty, meaning no further suspension will be served.
This is excellent news for the Devils, who are also bolstered by new signing Ryan Finnerty against former Devil Steve Thornton and his Giants team. The Devils were upset about the call on Voth and incensed over the actions of Blaze player Derek Campbell in an ugly episode last Saturday.
Now though the Devils can press on with the Challenge cup semi-final, the competition they dumped Coventry out of earlier this season - and of course welcoming Campbell and the Blaze back to Cardiff bay on, appropriately, boxing day.
Tickets are on sale for tomorrow night's game from cardiffdevils.com and the box office on 029 20 382001
