The Devils are pleased to confirm the signing of former Dundee Star player Craig Moore.
Moore has spent the last 2 seasons with the Stars playing both forward and defence. The native of Kirkcaldy served as an assistant captain in Dundee last season despite being only 21 years old. He scored 2 goals and 11 assists in 66 games during the 2016/17 season.
Prior to joining Dundee, he played two seasons in the Western States Hockey League for the Ogden Mustangs, scoring 14 goals and 19 assists in 50 games in his final season.
Moore stands 6’0” tall, plays with a lot of tenacity and skates well. He previously captained the Under 20 GB team in 2014/15 that won the Gold Medal in Division 2A. He has also played for Team GB at the Under 18 level.
Devils' coach Andrew Lord sees a ton of potential in Moore and spoke about his speed and his aggressive style of play that he feels will fit in well with the Devils.

“He’s a guy that is going to challenge himself every day to get better and better,” said Lord.
“Craig is comfortable playing forward and defence and I think he is going to come in and challenge some of the older guys for more minutes and I also think he is going to be a real vocal guy, which is something we need more of.”
Lord also spoke about his thoughts on the new EIHL rule about Under 23 players on the roster next season.
“There are a lot of under 23 Brits, but there aren’t enough that are ready to play at this level,” explained Lord.
“That’s why we identified Craig right away and went after him as soon as the season was over. He can step in and contribute right away and I’m pumped to have him here in Cardiff next season.”
