The Manchester Storm sweep into town on Sunday to face the Devils on home ice at ICE ARENA WALES...
Saturday's home opener is historic in more ways than one.
The current longest serving Devil, defenceman Mark Richardson will play his 700th EIHL competitive game on Saturday Night when MK Lightning come to town.
Richardson scored last weekend against HC Davos in Champions League action
Richardson played his first competitive match for the Devils in September 2005. He is heading into his 11th season with the club and will have his testimonial match this year on Tuesday October 24th to celebrate his career in Cardiff.
"Richy is only 30 years of age and in my opinion, playing the best hockey of his career," said GM Todd Kelman.
"We expect Richy to be around for a long, long time."
