The Manchester Storm sweep into town on Sunday to face the Devils on home ice at ICE ARENA WALES...
The Devils are pleased to confirm the signing of forward Justin Faryna for the 2017/18 season.
This will be Faryna’s third season in the EIHL, after two very productive years with the Dundee Stars. Two seasons ago in 2015/16, Faryna scored 29 goals including a team leading 9 goals on the powerplay. His 63 points that year were 2nd on the team and put him 12th in the league in the overall scoring charts.
Last season he tied for his team’s lead in goals with 26 and also led his team in powerplay goals with 8. Faryna also led the Stars in penalty minutes for the past 2 seasons with 176 and 110 minutes respectively.
"We love the way he plays," explained Andrew Lord, "he plays with an edge and has the ability to back his game up if need be."
"I watched a ton of video on him and the more I watched, the more impressed I got. He led his team in goals, fights and penalty minutes for the past two seasons, that is a very rare combination."
"Our fans are going to love this guy, and the reports I have received on him have been great. I am looking forward to seeing what he can do for the Devils next season."

Faryna has been rumoured to be coming to Cardiff for some time, but the deal was just completed in the past week. Listen to Faryna speak about what Devils fans can expect of him next season.
