DEVILS ELITE LOOK SHARP!

The new Cardiff Devils Elite League squad hit the ice today for the first time, following the arival of several imports flying into London yesterday.

Player Coach Gerad Adams was very pleased folowing his first session, which was short of two guys still to arrive, Jamie Milam & returning last years Captain Stuart MaCrae. Both are hopefully due in by Wednesday awaiting final visa clearance.

When questioned, G confirmed he was impressed considering the tired nature of some of the guys, who will hit the ice again tomorrow morning.

There is little doubt the team looks to be an improvement on last year, and G is looking for a quick start against the Steelers on September 8th.

All the players are looking very much forward to experiencing the BIG BLUE TENT atmosphere on Wednesday night! Tickets are selling well, with a decent crowd expected for the two warm up home games against the Coventry Blaze this coming Wednesday night and the NIHL1 (Devil's reserve) game this coming Sunday, which G certainly intends to treat as a proper game!
