"Cardiff Devils Red Army" Welcomes The Future!

At the last Red Army Stakeholders Group, (RASG) meeting on 11th June, it was agreed that in order to continue with transparency and clarity, a new supporters club should be set up which was independent of the existing stakeholder group and its members. The new supporters club will become a member of the Red Army Stakeholder Group, providing another representative group feeding into this forum.

A committee has been formed through discussion with fans who have expressed an interest in creating a new supporters club and temporary positions have been appointed until the first election can be held in April 2014. The new Chairperson is Lisa Guildford and the new Secretary is Katrina Williams. Both ladies were instrumental in the highly successful Cardiff Devils Family Fun Day at Kymin House in Penarth during the month of May. Additionally, the interim Treasurer/Membership Secretary will be Claire Bloodworth who is a longstanding CDSL Committee member.

With the new season on the horizon, Cardiff Devils will be contacting fans who paid fees to be a member of the existing Red Army Supporters Club (CDSL) when they applied for their season tickets. We will be asking for consent to transfer supporters’ details to the newly formed supporters group, "Cardiff Devils Red Army", who will be outlining the planned events for the year and how you can get involved at this exciting time in the Cardiff Devils journey.

If you do not wish for your details to be transferred to the newly formed "Cardiff Devils Red Army "please email NO later than Friday 5th July 2013. If we do not hear from you by this date, we will consider this non-action as consent to transfer your membership details and fees to the newly formed group as outlined above. All existing priority for seat selection for the new arena will be transferred to the new group as a benefit of being a member of the "Cardiff Devils Red Army." To clarify, anyone who is currently a fully paid RASC member will automatically maintain their exact position in the Devils' listing for priority seat selection in the new arena.

RASG chaired by John Donovan with contributions from The Inferno, Red Army Travel, Devils' Player Sponsors, Red Army Runners, "Cardiff Devils Red Army", Devils Community Foundation, Brent Pope and Gerad Adams, are tasked with helping the club to move forward into our new arena, while improving communications and representing the views of our fans.
