HELP THE DCF - PARKING £2 FOR 2012/13 SEASON!

Park and Give to the DCF with the South Wales Echo

It has been another busy off season for both the Cardiff Devils and the DCF as both businesses look to stabilise and grow during an exciting next 12 months ahead. During the next year construction will finally begin on the new twin pad permanent home for the Cardiff Devils and a future that promises to be sustainable for all ice sports in Cardiff.

The DCF in an effort to add value to the Cardiff Devils match nights are joining forces with the South Wales Echo during the 2012/13 season to increase much needed resource for the Devils’ Registered Charity.

Cardiff Devils Brent Pope is asking Devils’ fans to continue to support the DCF this season by paying to park at all Cardiff Devils’ matches in the Devils’ Car Park, “the revenue that is generated by the Devils’ Car Park goes directly to the DCF every match and it is important that we add value to this revenue stream.

This season the DCF are going to give the first 300 vehicles to park and pay in the Devils’ Parking lot a copy of the SW Echo and a raffle ticket to enter into our nightly Puck Sponsor draw to be announced in the first period break. All vehicles that arrive after the 300 SW Echo’s have been distributed will also receive a raffle ticket to be included in our nightly Puck Sponsor Draw.”

The cost for parking this season in the Devils’ Parking lot will be £2 and the Cardiff International Pool (CIP) will be working alongside our DCF initiative to help assist the registered charity in raising revenue by increasing the cost to park in their adjacent parking to £5.

The DCF is hoping this will encourage Devils’ fan to support the Devils Community Foundation every match and help generate more fun and activity surrounding match night parking!
