It's the big one... Cardiff ENL Devils play top of the table Invite Dynamos Saturday the 2nd of Jan. The Dynamos are the current ENL South champions and make their first visit to South Wales of the season. Last time the two teams met there were fire works, 9 goals and 5 fights including a goalie v goalie fight at Centre ice!! Cardiff lost the first encounter but hope to take points of their tittle rivals in the bay.
In a 1st V 2nd clash these two teams really are the best that the ENL have to offer. It should be great value for only £4 a ticket Elite league season ticket holders get in for free as do DCF members.
Come and support the future Devils tittle challenge......
The Cardiff ENL Devils are delighted to announce the signiture of Lee Cowmeadow! Lee has been out with an elbow injury for some time, an injury received whilst playing for the Elite league Devils in the middle of last season. Luckily Lee has been back in full training over the past few weeks and looks ready for action.
ENL Devils head coach Mark Cuddihy had this to say "I am very excited about this signing, Lee is a very experienced player and has a great pedigree in UK Ice Hockey. I have known Lee since we were around 12 years old and it's great to bring him back. I spoke to Lee in the summer about the possibilty of him playing ENL hockey this season, at the time his elbow was not right and he promised me we would talk again in December. He has looked really good in practice and is up for the new challenge"
The Devils sign Lee at a fantastic time, they play Bracknell this Sunday and then the huge game against Invicta on the 2nd of Jan that could well turn out out to have a major bearing on how the championship ends up
This Sunday the 27th of December the Cardiff Devils ENL play at home to Bracknell Hornets. The Devils have beaten the Hornets twice this year in very close fought out games. But Bracknell have since picked up some very good players from EPL team including Mark Galazzi.
These are two team that will surely be competing in the playoffs at the end of the year. It's a big game for the ENL Devils, as they look to close the gap at the top of the table.
Tickets are only £4 Season ticket holders and DCF members get free entry.
