Profile

This will be Tim Burrows' first full season as an EIHL Cardiff Devils, having stepped up froom the ENL side after the departure of Ben Davies.

Born in Germany but moved to Britain as a child, Tim started his career in the EPL with Telford Tigers at the age of just 15. In 2008 he moved to Cardiff to play for the ENL Devils and try to earn a place on the Elite League.

Neil Francis: "One of the pluses to come from Ben's move to Basingstoke was the opportunity it gave to Tom. We were struck with injuries and suspensions just after that and had to overplay guys as we were short of bodies. When we called up Tim as cover he did a great defensive job on the shifts we gave him which earned our trust to give him even more ice-time.

Tim was reliable all over the ice and even took the opportunity to net his first couple of goals. He will benefit from being full-time with us this year as, with his good attitude, he will learn quickly from the great players around him."
