Having finished last season in the EPL with Basingstoke Bison, Ben Davies returns to the EIHL for his 5th season with the Cardiff Devils.

Using his small frame to his advantage, Ben has the ability to weave in and out of larger defencemen whilst keeping hold of the puck. Experienced at both centre and wing, Ben's versatility will allow him to play a variety of position on different lines when needed.

Bench Coach Neil Francis says "It was disappointing to see Ben leave mid-way through last season. Disappointing because he is an Elite League player not an EPL player and he was contributing to the team's success before he left.

What has impressed me about Ben is how he has learned from that episode and bounced back better than ever. He has started off this season in a fantastic way, his work-rate and skills are as good as ever but now he is playing really smart hockey, adding a much better defensive side to his game - something we had questioned before.
