Formed in 1986 the Cardiff Devils are one of the most successful and feared teams ever to plays in the history of British Ice Hockey

As Wales' only professional Ice Hockey team the Cardiff Devils are firmly positioned in the Top 10 Elite League having enjoyed the success of winning every major title in the UK to date.

The Cardiff Devils will not only assist in the high profile invigoration of the International Sports Village in Cardiff Bay but will prove invaluable ambassadors of Cardiff as they tour the UK representing their city on the national stage. Sky Sports will see a dramatic increase in the awareness of the Cardiff Devils nationally.

Over the course of the season we play approximately 30 home matches, which are held at our home in the ISV in Cardiff Bay. The Devils will compete against teams from Sheffield, Belfast, Newcastle, Coventry, Edinburgh, Hull and Nottingham.
 
Matches traditionally last two and a half hours, over three twenty-minute periods with two fifteen-minute intervals in between. The average attendance for home matches is 10,000 per month and is ever growing thanks to our massive community initiative the Devils Community Foundation which is being launched to support sport at the grass roots level in the region whilst encouraging participation and Healthy Living. The Devils Community Foundation will work with a range of age groups from over 25,000 children across the South Wales region.
