Junior Devils Year End Awards 2009/10

 
The Cardiff Junior Devils held their Year End Awards ceremony at the Wharf Pub & Restaurant on Sunday July 4th

The event was hosted by Head of the DCF Brent Pope and nearly 200 people including players from the under 10’s, 12’s, 14’s, 16’s and ENL 1 & 2 teams attended. Cardiff Devils and GB International Phil Hill presented each player with their year end trophy alongside the Cardiff Devils’ Director of Hockey Shannon Hope who opened up the presentation.

Brent Pope commented, ‘It was great to get everyone in the same room at the same time and celebrate what has been a strong year for the Junior Devils as a club. It was a fantastic turnout and a great reminder about where the club is going.’
Each age group had two individual award winners as well which included a Player’s Player Award and Coach’s Player. The following were the winners for each age group:
Under 10’s Player’s Player: Will Scannell
Under 10’s Coach’s Player: Carter Lloyd
Under 12’s Player’s Player: Ciaran Matthews
Under 12’s Coach’s Player: Rebecca Enerston
Under 14’s Player’s Player: Jack Randall
Under 14’s Coach’s Player: Sam Bryant
Under 16’s Player’s Player: Zach Shanahan
Under 16’s Coach’s Player: Ellis Price
ENL 2 Player’s Player: Scott Monaghan
ENL 2 Coach’s Player: Neil Browning
ENL 1 Player’s Player: David James
ENL 1 Coach’s Player: Tim Burrows
The Devils Community Foundation and the Cardiff Devils would like to take this opportunity to thank every player, parent, coach, manager and club official for their tireless contribution to making the 2009/10 season a great success.
